DESIGN - DESIGN ILLUSTRATION

Design illustration can range from sketches outlining ideas to presentation drawings explaining a product. Design illustration incorporates the study of figures, plants, animals and industrially designed objects. Learners are trained to design creative illustrations to explain textual information for magazines, book covers and posters or decorative illustrations that are transferred to lamps, plates and banners.

The design of letter types also forms part of the course.
